    Customers

    • Hi-pass System
      The Hi-Pass system allows a driver to pay tolls using wireless or infrared communications within the car. When the OBU (on-board unit) with a smart card inserted approaches the tollgate, it exchanges information with the tollgate (antenna) through wireless or infrared communications. The smart card in the OBU pays tolls automatically and transmits payment results.
    • DSRC (Dedicated Short
      Range Communication)
      The DSCR traffic information system collects traffic information in real-time from the RSU (road-side unit) and vehicles with OBU through the DSCR communication and transmits the data to the traffic information center where such data can be processed in order to offer the driver the average running speed and time required.
    • VMS (Variable Message Sign)
      The VMS (Variable Message Sign) provides the driver with traffic information and road conditions, collected by the traffic information center, in text or graphics, in order to improve driver safety and traffic conditions.
    • VDS (Vehicle Detection System)
      The LVDS (loop detector) detects vehicles per lane using loop sensors installed on the road so as to collect information on traffic volume, speed, and occupancy in real-time to send the data to the traffic information center.
    • CCTV
      CCTV (closed-circuit television), installed at intervals of 2~3km, detects traffic conditions such as delays, congestion, or accidents to transmit relevant images via optical cable.
